

Lymph Drainage
The Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a form of physical therapy.
It was developed by Vodder in the 1930s and then further developed over time by Földi and Asdonk, among others.
Manual lymphatic drainage has powerful unblocking, relaxing and pain relieving effects and is therefore chiefly used to treat oedema and congestion problems in the body. Using circular movements applied with gentle pressure, fluid is removed from the tissue in the lymphatic system.
Manual lymphatic drainage is particularly effective in the treatment of skin and subcutis disorders and should not cause any increased blood flow as in classic massage.
